A new School year is upon us again. I sit here at my computer with good intentions. I have decided to start blogging the kids school year again. I would love to say I will keep it up. That every week I will have an update on what we did in the last week. I would also like to say that I will have pictures and I will make it entertaining and that you all will enjoy reading it and not be bored to death. Those are my intentions anyways. Will it happen, I am hoping so, will it be entertaining, that may depend on how the lessons play out, will there be pictures, if I remember to take them while we are doing whatever we are doing. It's a toss up on how well this blog will be. In the past I start out strong and then fizzled hard, but that is in the past and I am going to try hard to keep it going.

The main reason I want to do the blog is for a record of what we have done for the year, I also know that some of you are interested in what we do during our school year so this is the perfect way to keep you updated. If you do decide to follow and read it, adding a comment so I know someone is reading it really helps to spur me on to continues to update it (hint hint). Even if it's just a well done or if you have any creative ideas you want to share. I am always looking for ideas, just ask Michelle(Mommy and Me home school) I am constantly taking ideas from her.

As of now I am working diligently on Landon's Kindergarten curriculum, it has been a lot of work, more than I expected, but it's been full filling too. We already have a field trip to a farm planned and I am really looking forward to going to it, it's the first time we've taken a field trip to this farm, so it should be a lot of fun. We will also be taking a field trip to an aquarium and I am  hoping a lot more places.

I have all the girls curriculum in but haven't started on their lesson plans, I will hopefully start them at the end of this week. The girls have a new science that I am really excited about, it looks as though it's going to be a lot of fun. We are still using Bob Jones curriculum for Math, English and Heritage Studies (social studies), Science we are now using Science Fusion and for Reading I am doing my own curriculum for the girls along with spelling and handwriting.

I am hoping that we have a great year and all the extra planning I am doing now will pay off. I hope you all join us on our school adventure.
